Edmonds - Kingston

Typically one of the busiest routes. Expect longer waits on Friday evenings westbound and Sunday evenings eastbound. Kingston terminal seismic retrofit in progress through July 2026.

Port Townsend - Coupeville

This route is weather-sensitive due to open water exposure in Admiralty Inlet. High winds can cause delays or cancellations. Some sailings are tide-dependent. Reservations strongly recommended.

Kingston - Seattle Fast Ferry

Kitsap Transit passenger-only fast ferry. Bikes allowed. Check Kitsap Transit for service alerts and holiday schedules.

What to Expect on the Water

Calm (winds < 10 kt): Smooth crossing on all routes. Enjoy the views!

Moderate (10-20 kt): Some chop, especially on the PT-Coupeville crossing. Keep belongings secured.

Rough (20+ kt): PT-Coupeville route may be delayed or cancelled. All routes may experience swells. Check alerts.
